Are you an experienced pharmacist ready to take the next step into leadership? We’re looking for a motivated and patient‑focused Pharmacist Manager to lead our welcoming community pharmacy team in a new contract pharmacy in Bishopton, Renfrewshire. We are looking for an ambitious, forward‑thinking pharmacist ready to lead something new from the ground up. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become the Pharmacy Manager of a newly awarded contract launching later this year.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high‑quality pharmacy services. This is your chance to build, influence and lead a team while making a genuine impact on patient care from day one.

Dargavel Pharmacy will have strong links with our existing pharmacy in Bishopton where we’re proud to serve our local community with high‑quality, person‑centred care. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape services, support your team, and make a meaningful impact on patient health alongside a supportive, well‑established pharmacy team.

The Role

As Pharmacist Manager, you will:

  • Help lead and setup the new pharmacy contract

  • Build, develop and inspire a pharmacy team

  • Deliver high‑quality NHS and private services

  • Ensure safe, effective, and compliant pharmacy operations

  • Drive service development, including Pharmacy First and prescribing services

  • Maintain strong relationships with patients, GP practices, and local healthcare providers

  • Champion patient care

You’ll play a key role in shaping the pharmacy’s clinical offering and fostering a positive, supportive team culture.

About You

We’re looking for a pharmacist who:

  • Is a qualified and registered pharmacist with the GPhC

  • Independent Prescriber qualification or working towards IP is preferable

  • Has strong leadership and organisational skills

  • Demonstrates strong clinical knowledge and governance expertise

  • Is patient‑focused and clinically driven

  • Thrives in a community setting

  • Is committed to continuous professional development

  • Possesses excellent communication and organisations skills
