The Role

As Pharmacy Manager, you will lead the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, playing a key role in improving patient outcomes and supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking to develop their leadership skills, grow clinical services, and make a real difference in community pharmacy.

You will balance clinical care, team leadership, and operational excellence, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, support, and develop the pharmacy team to reach their full potential

  • Manage workload, staffing, and resources to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient‑focused culture

Clinical & Patient Care

  • Deliver high‑quality clinical care through consultations and advice

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications and address patient queries

  • Deliver and grow NHS Pharmacy First, Pharmacy First Plus, and other clinical services

  • Build strong working relationships with local GP practices and healthcare stakeholders

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with GPhC, legal, and professional standards

  • Maintain accurate patient records and operational documentation

  • Manage stock, including ordering, date checking, and organisation

  • Drive pharmacy performance and deliver positive KPI outcomes for the business

Service Development

  • Actively contribute to the development of new and enhanced pharmacy services

  • Promote services to patients and healthcare partners

  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay up to date with clinical guidelines

We’re Looking For

  • GPhC‑registered Pharmacist (Independent Prescribing qualification preferred)

  • Proven leadership ability or readiness to step into a management role

  • Passion for community pharmacy and delivering excellent patient care

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment

  • Commitment to professional development and service improvement

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000
