Are you an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist who feels ready for more opportunity, more involvement, and a greater say in how services are developed?

At Capsule Pharmacy in Stirling, we’re looking for someone who wants to bring ideas into practice, contribute to service development, and play an active role in shaping patient care within the pharmacy. This is a real opportunity for a pharmacist who wants to move beyond simply following a model and instead help build and develop services that genuinely benefit the local community.

Capsule Pharmacy is part of a growing pharmacy group operating 13 community pharmacies across Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Alloa, Perth and beyond, alongside an established online pharmacy. As the business continues to expand, there is significant opportunity for pharmacists to grow with the organisation and contribute to the future direction of services.

Based in Stirling, you’ll be joining a friendly, experienced team that is well known within the local community, working closely with local healthcare providers to deliver high‑quality clinical care while fully utilising your prescribing qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient consultations and prescribe safely in line with clinical guidelines

  • Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services including patient assessments and treatments

  • Provide expert advice on medicines, side effects and adherence

  • Build strong relationships with local GP practices and healthcare teams

  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy manager and dispensary team

  • Support the development and promotion of pharmacy services within the local community

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and clinical governance standards

What We’re Looking For

  • GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification

  • Strong clinical knowledge and a patient‑centred approach

  • Confidence working collaboratively with local healthcare teams

  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset

  • Someone motivated to bring ideas forward and contribute to the development of services

In return, we offer a generous salary package, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive and expanding pharmacy group, where pharmacists are encouraged to bring ideas forward and play a genuine role in developing services.

If this sounds like the kind of opportunity you’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
