Important Message for Community Pharmacy Owners, Contractors and Employees
Published: 08/01/26
We are currently reviewing future budgets and training capacity requirements for CPS/NES Funded Owner, Contractor and Employee CPIP Training. To do this, we need a clear picture of how many CP employees in the network have not yet completed their training.
If you have not already completed a copy of this form, please do so now.
Please note that there is no central return on this information, and each individual pharmacist should make their own response.
The data will then be collated and used in planning for ongoing budgets and training in the next financial years.
Your details will be held securely and in confidence.
Please complete this form if:
You are a CP Employee or Owner or Contractor Pharmacist
You have still to undertake CPIP Training and want to do so.
You do not plan to undertake CPIP Training. Please note this is not a formal commitment, but is required to determine current numbers.
You have previously accessed NES funding but did not complete your IP Training. This may have been in a previous role. Please note that the current NHS policy of each pharmacist being funded for IP training only once still stands. However, we want to understand how many employees are in this position before we can assess any other possible options.
If you have any questions, please contact us on enquiries@cps.scot
Please discuss and agree the detail in this form detail with your owner/employer in line with any internal polices within your organisation.
If you have any questions, please contact us on enquiries@cps.scot
