New UCF Modules - Important Notice

Pharmacy teams will start to notice two new UCF modules appearing in their PMRs from next week - one each for the previously-announced Nystatin and Hydrocortisone PGDs.


These are being installed in preparation for the PGDs being published, so should not be used until your local Health Board has released them and you have completed the necessary training and sign-off.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Two new UCF modules will begin appearing in PMR systems from next week. These relate to the previously announced Nystatin and Hydrocortisone PGDs.

  • The modules are being added in preparation for the rollout of Patient Group Directions (PGDs) for Nystatin and Hydrocortisone, enabling pharmacy teams to supply these treatments when appropriate.

  • You must wait for your local Health Board to publish the PGDs, complete any required training, and ensure you are signed off as competent to deliver the service.
