This message is for Independent Prescribing colleagues who are funded by Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES):
As part of your funded Community Pharmacy Independent Prescribing course, there is one half day session at a Teach and Treat Hub included. This session can be booked once you have completed your qualification and the 4 Clinical Training days.
There are T&T Hubs across most of the NHS Boards, from which you can choose; details can be found here. Please get in touch with the Hub Lead directly to agree a mutually convenient time.

The Teach and Treat Hub session is a half day practical session that forms part of the funded Community Pharmacy Independent Prescribing course. It provides an opportunity to develop prescribing skills in a supported clinical environment.

Teach and Treat Hubs are located across most NHS Boards. You can choose the hub that is most convenient for you.
