Last Saturday, the Scottish Pharmacy Awards proved to be a standout evening, bringing together pharmacy colleagues from across the country to recognise and celebrate the incredible contribution community pharmacy makes to the people of Scotland.
The event shined a spotlight on the dedication, innovation and impact of pharmacy teams who continue to go above and beyond for their patients and communities every day.

Community Pharmacy of the Year: Bruntsfield Pharmacy, Travel and Health Clinic
Community Pharmacy Service Award: Elizabeth Taylor (Boots Cambusiang), Jackie Bayne (Denny Pharmacy), Janine Glen (NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde), Lesley-Ann Graham (Lindsay and Gilmour West Calder Health Centre)
The highlight of the evening was the Outstanding Contribution to Pharmacy Award, awarded to the late Bryan Lamb. The award was accepted by Bryan’s wife, Julie, alongside his colleague Dionne.
The citation was delivered by Community Pharmacy Scotland’s Matt Barclay, who gave a moving and heartfelt speech. He paid tribute not only to Bryan’s significant professional achievements, but also to the kindness and character that made him such a respected and valued figure within the pharmacy community.

The Scottish Pharmacy Awards serve as an important reminder of the incredible role community pharmacy plays across Scotland. From delivering essential healthcare services to supporting patients in their daily lives, pharmacy teams continue to make a meaningful difference.
