Adjusted Prices Review and Part 7 Deletions - May 2026

Published: 1st May 2026

This update sets out changes to Adjusted Prices and confirms three lines removed from Part 7 of the Scottish Drug Tariff for May 2026. Please continue to report any ongoing concerns using the Shortages Reporter.

As a part of our work with the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland, we regularly raise lines of concern and work to secure adjusted prices for these. We also work with them regularly to review lines which have now stabilised and remove these as appropriate.

Based on evidence, there are several lines that have stabilised which you can view here with their revised price for May 2026. These are no longer treated as Adjusted Prices; however, we will continue to monitor these lines, so we ask you to please continue to use our Shortages Reporter to report any that are of concern. This allows us to continue to negotiate with Public Health Scotland and raise any issues around shortages and over tariff lines.

You can review the list of current Adjusted Price on the website as of the 1st May 2026.

There have been 3 lines removed from Part 7 of the Scottish Drug Tariff this month:

  • Clobetasol 500microgram / Neomycin 5mg / Nystatin 100,000units/g cream 30g

  • Clobetasol 500microgram / Neomycin 5mg / Nystatin 100,000units/g ointment 30g

  • Diazepam 2mg/5ml oral solution sugar free 100ml
