Our colleagues at NES have asked us to highlight some upcoming webinars aimed at teams who host (or would like to host) pharmacy undergraduate students for experiential learning blocks. The sessions are intended to give practical ideas and strategies to help teams and students alike get the most out of their time together. Details are below, along with the links to register.

Dr Amani Bell, Associate Professor, University of Sydney, presents research on high-quality allied health placements, exploring the four pillars of placement preparedness: University, Placement Site, Educator, and Student.
Katherine Morrow, Director & National Coordinator at Affiliation for Pharmacy Practice Experiential Learning and Prof Judith Strawbridge, Director of Education at Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, share how national coordination and student-focused design are delivering high-quality EL placements across the Republic of Ireland.

Dr Fiona Hughes, Senior Lecturer and Prof Roisin O’Hare, Professor of Clinical Pharmacy Practice, Queen’s University Belfast, present their structured model of EL delivery across years 1–4 of the MPharm, including student preparedness, assessment aligned to professional practice, and near-peer facilitation.
Prof Hamde Nazar, Professor of Pharmacy Education and Primary Care Research, Newcastle University, shares findings from research on pharmacy students’ experiences in a student-led clinic delivering preventative health services.
Dr Christy Noble, Associate Professor and Clinical Learning & Assessment Lead at the Academy for Medical Education, University of Queensland, shares findings from a learner-centred intervention designed to enhance feedback literacy among health professional students during clinical placements.
