Registration Exam July 2021
Published: 22/07/21

Our colleagues at NES have asked us to pass on the following information about the support they are able to offer to trainee Pharmacists who are sitting their registration assessment for the first time this month but do not pass:
We are sure that the majority of those who sit, will pass the assessment, however there will be a number who unfortunately do not pass. NES have written to everybody to inform them before sitting the exam, that should they fail, NES can financially support them to continue their employment as an agenda for change (AfC) band 5 employee (or equivalent) until the results of the next November GPhC assessment sitting are published. NES will also deliver a supportive educational package to assist them in their preparation for the November assessment.
If you employ anyone under the NES Foundation Year programme in Scotland who sit and are unsuccessful at the GPhC July registration assessment, we ask that you please get in touch with NES at andrea.pritchard@nes.scot.nhs.uk
