December 2025 Adjusted Prices & January 2026 Part 7 Publishing
Published: 23/12/25
As we approach the new year, pharmacy teams are managing adjusted prices and preparing for the January 2026 Scottish Drug Tariff Part 7. Here’s what you need to know about timelines and support available.
We would like to thank contractors for continuing to use our shortage reporter during what we know is a particularly busy time of year for pharmacy teams. Please be assured that our discussions regarding shortages and adjusted prices for December 2025 will continue until the January 2026 Scottish Drug Tariff Part 7 is agreed and published.
Due to the festive period and Public Health Scotland’s availability, we have been advised that the January 2026 edition of Part 7 will not be available until the week commencing 5th January 2026. This will allow time to process any outstanding adjusted prices for December, which will continue to be closely monitored throughout this period. We will publish January’s Part 7 as soon as it has been finalised.
As always, if you have any queries or issues with Drug Tariff lines that are not available at or below the listed price, please use our shortage reporter. You can also contact us on 0131 467 7766 or at pharmacy.services@cps.scot.
