Sheila MacFarlane Pharmacy is an independent, family-run, two-branch pharmacy based in the heart of Broughty Ferry. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do, and we have an experienced team of support staff.

Job Details

• Location: Broughty Ferry

• Employment: Part-time – 15 hours per week (every second Saturday)

About the Role

The pharmacist will lead an experienced team consisting of a variety of skilled staff. In addition to dispensing prescriptions, you will provide counselling and health advice to patients and carers, alongside delivering the full range of services in the NHS contract.

You will work closely with local health centres and healthcare professionals, with whom we have strong working relationships, to optimise patient outcomes and maintain accurate records. You will be highly motivated to support the growth of our pharmacy business and embrace changes to the pharmacy contract.

The role will involve:

• Delivering NHS services

• Building lasting relationships with the community

• Working closely with local organisations

Qualifications Required

• GPhC registration

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Community pharmacy experience (preferred but not essential)

• Independent Prescriber qualification (preferred but not essential – DDP can be provided)
