About the Role

We are seeking a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our Glenrothes team at Dears Pharmacy. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking pharmacy group that prioritises clinical excellence and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe for minor ailments, contraception, infections, and chronic conditions

• Deliver Pharmacy First Plus, hypertension checks, and NHS/private services

• Collaborate with GPs, NHS Boards, and multidisciplinary teams

• Utilise digital tools and modern consultation rooms

• Lead clinical care, mentor team members, and contribute to service development

Requirements

• GPhC-registered Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber qualification

• Clinically confident, patient-focused, and service-driven

• Experience in community or primary care pharmacy (preferred)

• Passionate about advancing pharmacy as a primary healthcare provider
