Exciting Opportunity: Base Pharmacist at Borders Pharmacy, Hawick

  • Position: Base Pharmacist

  • Location: Borders Pharmacy, Hawick

  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week

  • Job Type: Permanent

  • No weekends

Borders Pharmacy in Hawick is thrilled to announce an exciting opening for a Base Pharmacist. This role involves working alongside our experienced GpHC-registered non-pharmacist manager and a supportive dispensary team.

As a Pharmacist, you will receive:

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess an MPharm degree along with GpHC registration

  • Have a good understanding of the Scottish Pharmacy Contract, particularly the importance of NHS Pharmacy First Scotland

  • Be commercially aware and understand how to maintain and grow a pharmacy business

  • An IP qualification would be desirable; however, full support will be provided to pharmacists willing to undertake the qualification

  • Be professional, ethical, and committed to providing outstanding patient care and customer service

  • Be a team player who can build and maintain effective working relationships with both colleagues and patients

  • Be driven to work in conjunction with the Non-pharmacist manager to develop and implement new processes and procedures
