About the Role

Dears Pharmacy is expanding its clinical team and is looking for a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our Dunfermline branch. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, patient-centred environment with strong support for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe for minor ailments, contraception, infections, and chronic conditions

• Deliver Pharmacy First Plus, hypertension checks, and NHS/private services

• Collaborate with GPs, NHS Boards, and multidisciplinary teams

• Utilise digital tools and modern consultation rooms

• Lead clinical care, mentor team members, and contribute to service development

Requirements

• GPhC-registered Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber qualification

• Clinically confident, patient-focused, and service-driven

• Experience in community or primary care pharmacy (preferred)

• Passionate about advancing pharmacy as a primary healthcare provider
