About the Role

Dears Pharmacy is a clinically-led, independent pharmacy group committed to delivering healthcare differently. We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our Edinburgh team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver impactful clinical services in a modern, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe for minor ailments, contraception, infections, and chronic conditions

• Deliver Pharmacy First Plus, hypertension checks, and NHS/private services

• Collaborate with GPs, NHS Boards, and multidisciplinary teams

• Utilise digital tools and modern consultation rooms

• Lead clinical care, mentor team members, and contribute to service development

Requirements

• GPhC-registered Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber qualification

• Clinically confident, patient-focused, and service-driven

• Experience in community or primary care pharmacy (preferred)

• Passionate about advancing pharmacy as a primary healthcare provider
