Community Pharmacy Employee Pharmacists Still to Undertake IP Training Dec - 2025

Published: 11/12/25

We are currently reviewing future budgets and training capacity requirements for CPS/NES Funded Employee CPIP Training. To do this, we need a clear picture of how many CP employees in the network have not yet completed their training.

In order to collate the information in the most straightforward way, please complete the form below:

The data will then be collated and used in planning for ongoing budgets and training in the next financial years.

Please complete this data if:

  • You are a CP Employee Pharmacist

    • You have still to undertake CPIP Training and want to do so.

    • You do not plan to undertake CPIP Training. Please note this is not a formal commitment, but is required to determine current numbers.

    • You have previously accessed NES funding but did not complete your IP Training. This may have been in a previous role. Please note that the current NHS policy of each pharmacist being funded for IP training only once still stands. However, we want to understand how many employees are in this position before we can assess any other possible options.

Your details will be held securely and in confidence.

Please return your form asap, and by January 5th 2026.

Please discuss and agree the detail in this form detail with your owner/employer in line with any internal polices within your organisation.

If you have any questions, please contact us on enquiries@cps.scot
