Courier Update

Published: 15th January 2026

We would like to apologise for the confusion and disruption experienced during the courier collection on Thursday 8th of January 2026. We recognise the impact this has had on pharmacy teams and would like to sincerely thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation.

Please be assured that we are working closely with Parcelforce and Royal Mail to resolve the issues experienced and to ensure that prescriptions continue to be delivered safely and securely to Gyle Square.

Some of you also may be starting to organise your prescriptions ahead of the next collection.

To help you prepare for this you will be receiving a Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) branded letter into your pharmacy next week. This letter will contain guidance on what actions to take for your next collections, including the bags you have and the labels you will receive in advance. We will also share this digitally but wanted to let you know now in case you are already in the process of bagging prescriptions.

If you have any questions, please contact us on 0131 467 7766 or email pharmacy.services@cps.scot.
