PCA(P)(2026)08 - Amendments to the Drug Tariff Part 11 Discount Clawback Scale

Purpose

This circular advises community pharmacy contractors and NHS Boards on the amendments to the Drug Tariff Part 11 clawback scale.

Background

Circular PCA(P)(2025)19 advised that the Drug Tariff in respect of the Part 11 discount clawback scale would be reset to 0% effective from 1 July 2025.

Drug Tariff Part 11

The Part 11 discount clawback rate to the Drug Tariff shall be reset to 3.81% effective 1 April 2026. As such the target clawback has been adjusted accordingly. See the attached Annex for further detail on the scale.

Pending any further notice, the Part 11 target clawback rate shall be reviewed in accordance with the agreed context of the funding arrangements upon receipt of the next set of survey results.
