Adjusted Prices Review January 2026
Published: 06/01/25
As a part of our work with the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland, we regularly raise lines of concern and work to secure adjusted prices for these. We also work with them regularly to review lines which have now stabilised and remove these as appropriate.
Based on evidence, the below line has stabilised:
Mercaptopurine 50mg tablets 25 pack will move from £7.57 to £15.30
This is no longer treated as Adjusted Price; however, we will continue to monitor this line, so we ask you to please continue to use our Shortages Reporter to report any that are of concern. This allows us to continue to negotiate with Public Health Scotland and raise any issues around shortages.
You can review the list of current Adjusted Price on the website as of the 1st January 2026.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the us on 0131 467 7766 or email pharmacy.services@cps.scot.
