Survey: Same Day and Urgent Care Priority Setting

Published: 3010/25

CPS has been approached by a research group to highlight the following survey on Same Day and Urgent Care Services in the UK.

Participation is voluntary, and you can skip any questions you do not want to answer.

Please note that CPS is not sponsoring the survey. This information is being shared for signposting purposes only.

If you would like to take part, please ensure you follow any specific policies within your organisation and discuss with your pharmacy superintendent or line manager as appropriate.

Here is some detail from the organiser:

We are trying to identify priorities for future research into the workforce of Same Day and Urgent Care services in the UK. We are looking for UK healthcare staff and people who have used Same Day and Urgent Care to take part. We are part of a wider NIHR-funded workforce research partnership that will run until 2030, so we have the opportunity to focus on some of these research priorities we identify in the next few years. Community pharmacy services are part of our scope of Same Day and Urgent Care.

This is an all-UK study and we are very keen to make sure that Scotland is well represented. Currently it does not have many responses compared to England and the other devolved nations. We also want to ensure that community pharmacy is well represented compared to other Same Day and Urgent Care services.

It is quick and easy to take part. You can:

  • Fill out a short survey

  • Sign up to take part in a workshop

  • Send a private WhatsApp voice note

Your input will help us focus on areas for future research and questions that matter most.
