Catriona Sinclair

I am an independent contractor owning Spa Pharmacy in Strathpeffer in the Highlands.

After graduating in 1990 I worked for many years for Boots and Moss before deciding to move into the independent sector and I have never looked back. Living and working in the Highlands has offered me opportunities to work in a different environment where local community resources, such as a community pharmacy, are vitally important.

I have chaired the Community Pharmacy Highland committee for many years now and have been on the board at Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) for over ten years during which time I am proud to have been a part of the many changes to the pharmacy contract within Scotland.

I am the chair of the Area Pharmaceutical Committee (APC) and Area Clinical Forum (ACF) in NHS Highland and this gives me additional insight into the bigger picture and challenges within the NHS.

I am an Independent Prescriber (IP) and Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) and I am passionate about the need to support the future of pharmacy and pharmacists to be the best we can be in the community. The challenges of operating in a rural environment are also vitally important to me and I feel privileged to be able to speak up for contractors who offer vital rural services to patients.

Campbell Shimmins

Campbell graduated from Strathclyde University and has been an independent proprietor pharmacist since 1993. He has been a Director of Albapharm and subsequently Inphaserve since 2003. He was also a member of Forth Valley Area Pharmaceutical Committee from 1995 until 2007, and a member of Forth Valley Pharmacy Contractors Committee (CPS Forth Valley) since 1995. IHe has also been elected to Fife Contractors' Committee (CPS Fife).

Since 1999 he has been the Chairman of Forth Valley Pharmacy Contractors Committee and been reappointed as Chairman for the session. He has also been a member of Community Pharmacy Scotland since 1999. He qualified as a supplementary prescriber in 2004, and the first community pharmacist prescriber and since 2006 an Independent prescriber.

He was a member of the National Pharmacy Forum and has been an active member of the Community Pharmacy Scotland Board from 2004, standing again in 2016 as his role within his own businesses allowed a commitment that the potential election to the CPS Board required.

Mark Feeney

I am the owner and operator of Bannerman's Pharmacy Group. We are a small chain of 5 independent pharmacies based in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Previously, I have worked in community pharmacy as an employee and as part of the Executive Team for Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS). I was Head of Policy and Development at CPS before joining Bannerman's as a Director in 2018. I purchased the business outright in April 2020.

I completed my independent prescriber training in 2020 and still spend most of my working week in patient facing roles.

My interests are in sustainable policy and service development to help community pharmacies stay at the heart of primary care services. Working with the CPS Board and team I want to ensure community pharmacy receives the funding and recognition it deserves from the Scottish Government.
