PVG Applications: Support Available from CPS

If you need to apply to the PVG Scheme, Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) can support you through the process.
The PVG Scheme is required for people working in regulated roles with children and/or protected adults, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
We provide administrative support to help you complete your application. This includes checking your application and ID, countersigning the application, and submitting it to Disclosure Scotland. Once the application has been processed, Disclosure Scotland will contact you directly to complete the next stage online.
To apply, you will need to complete the application form, provide three forms of ID (including one photographic ID and proof of address), and supply your personal and employment details. It is important that all information matches your ID documents to avoid delays.
When submitting your application, payment must be made at the same time. Applications are only processed once payment has been received, so submitting both together will ensure there is no delay in progressing your application.
