Your next courier collection is scheduled for Thursday, 4th June 2026. We have produced the following guidelines for your prescription bag submissions. On Courier Collection days, your post person will arrive with a label and collect a return parcel, this should be your prescription bag.

Please ensure that, on courier collection days, you only hand over the correct bags that contain your submissions. The Scanning Centre at Gyle Square is keen to receive your prescription bags, and only your prescription bags.

If you have two bags ready but only one label has been provided, please do not tape them together. Instead, give us a call or send us an email and we will arrange a second label and collection for the following day.

What to Expect?

• The Royal Mail / Parcelforce driver will bring a label with them at the time of collection

• The driver must attach the label to the prescription bag while on the pharmacy premises

Bag Usage

• Use two bags if you have more than 6,000 forms.

• If you need additional bags please call us on 0131 467 7766.

• Keep Stock Orders & PC70s separate.

• Please include your GP34 Declaration Form (yellow form). Additional forms can be ordered from your local health board here.

• Secure the prescriptions tightly with rubber bands before placing them in the bags.

  Items such as makeup, handsets, till equipment, or any non‑prescription items should not be handed over.

  Do not tape the bags together. Contact us to arrange a second label and collection for the following day.

• Can the courier collect other items from the pharmacy?

  No. The courier should collect prescription bags only.

• Where are prescription bags sent?

  Prescription bags are sent to the Scanning Centre at Gyle Square.
