About the Role

Our pharmacy in Stranraer operates with an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) as our Store Manager, providing excellent support for the Pharmacist. The store also benefits from a strong retail presence due to its location in a larger town.

Stranraer is the second largest town in Dumfries and Galloway, located on the picturesque South West coast of Scotland, and is just a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal with links to Northern Ireland.

As a Pharmacist with Boots, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine—it’s about listening, offering expert advice, and providing reassurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice

  • Make legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy

  • Build the pharmacy capability of store teams

  • Conduct audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety

  • Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services

What You’ll Need

  • Registration with GPhC, PSNI, or PSI

  • High levels of professional expertise

  • Passion for community pharmacy and patient care

  • Collaborative, team-focused approach

  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and services

  • Strong communication skills
