We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team in our Shetland pharmacies.
Primarily based at our Laing’s Pharmacy, you will have opportunities to work in our other three Shetland locations:
Freefield Pharmacy
Scalloway Pharmacy
Brae Pharmacy
You will have the enjoyment of working in a range of pharmacies, each offering different opportunities but all benefiting from the same great support from our experienced pharmacy teams.
You will work within a well-developed framework with ample support from Senior Managers and Head Office Staff.
Working within an Annualised Hours Contract, some of your working weeks may be only three days, others may be six, for example, when providing holiday cover for our team of pharmacists and pharmacist managers.

What We Offer
Competitive salary: £55,000 to £75,000 (full-time), dependent on experience and qualifications.

Overall Purpose of the Job
Provide all aspects of the Scottish Pharmaceutical Care Services Contract core services: NHS Pharmacy First, Acute Medication, Public Health Services, Medicine Care and Review.
Along with the Pharmacy Manager, support the achievement of business goals and objectives by maximising sales and profitability through sound business decisions, and establishing positive relationships with healthcare professionals, patients and customers.
Provide a safe and efficient Pharmaceutical Care Service within accepted legal and professional requirements using relevant policies and procedures and the GPhC Professional Standards.
