Introduction
A UK‑wide Serious Shortage Protocol (SSP) has been issued for ramipril 1.25mg capsules. The SSP applies between 22nd April and 29th May 2026 and sets out how community pharmacists should manage supply during this period.
A new Video Remote Interpreting pilot will launch in community pharmacies on 5 October 2026 to support BSL users accessing services.

SSP extensions for Creon 10000 and 25000 have been issued. Pharmacists must review new end dates and continue limiting supply to one month.
