Nic’s Wee Wanderers Lace Up for Life-Saving Blood Bikes Scotland

Published: 24/07/25

Our very own Audit and Services Assistant Emma Ramage is fundraising with a group of her determined friends who are walking in support of Blood Bikes Scotland in honour of their friend, Nic.

Nearly three years ago, Nic received the devastating diagnosis of leukaemia. What followed was a long and difficult journey through intensive treatment.

Two years ago, Nic’s friends including Emma walked the Seven Hills of Edinburgh to raise money for the hospital ward that became her second home. Now, they’re taking on a new challenge, the Edinburgh Kiltwalk this September under the banner of Nic’s Wee Wanderers, with the aim of raising vital funds for Blood Bikes Scotland.

Emma, our master of Adjusted Prices, Part 7 and all things shortages, is one of the proud members of Nic’s Wee Wanderers. If you’d like to support Emma and donate to this fantastic cause, you can do so by visiting their JustGiving page.
