Emma Ramage: Audit and Services Assistant

I joined Community Pharmacy Scotland in October 2019 as a Pharmacy Services Assistant, following 16 years experience working in community pharmacy.

During my time in community pharmacy, I progressed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician and later an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician. I then went on to support the management of a care home services dispensary for eight years, a challenging and rewarding role which allowed me to develop and apply a broad range of pharmacy knowledge and practical skills.

I joined the CPS team at Queen Street to take on a new challenge while continuing to make use of my pharmacy experience. My background and working knowledge of community pharmacy have been invaluable in helping me settle into the role and support colleagues and contractors effectively.

I currently lead on Drug Tariff-related work, including the processing of Adjusted Prices and Concessions, collating Over Drug Tariff Price reports, and supporting tariff-related queries such as item eligibility, pricing and payments. If you have any questions in these areas, I would be happy to help.

I am also the Liaison Officer for the CP Greater Glasgow & Clyde, CP Lothian and CP Western Isles Committees.
