Scottish Parliament Elections Outcome

Published: 14th May 2026

In the run-up to the recent election, we spent time with candidates and parties across the political spectrum to lobby for our CPS Manifesto ambitions to be adopted and championed by whoever formed the next Government.

We have since carried out an analysis of all of the parties' manifesto commitments and are pleased to see that there is significant opportunity for us to carry on this engagement post-election, as there are strong common themes of investing more in preventative health and community care initiatives. We are keeping a close eye on developments at the Scottish Parliament this week to inform our strategy going forward - keep an eye on this space for updates on our progress!

As always, if you are approached by your local MSP or are thinking of engaging with them, the Policy team at CPS are able to provide you with support - just get in touch via enquiries@cps.scot or call into the office.
