About us

Dysart Pharmacy is an award-winning independent community pharmacy and part of the Wellbeing Pharmacies Group. We're committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to our local community, with a genuine focus on patient wellbeing and outstanding customer service. We aim to be at the forefront of the changing role that community pharmacy plays in the healthcare system.

The role

We're looking for a registered Pharmacy Technician to join and help lead our experienced team.

This is a clinical-facing role for someone who wants to grow beyond the dispensary. You'll work directly alongside our Superintendent Pharmacist and an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist branch manager, getting hands-on with the clinical services that set us apart: weight management, travel health, and vaccinations among them. Full training is provided. If you'd like to qualify as an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) in future, we're happy to support that too — but it's not a requirement.

If you're a qualified technician looking to develop your clinical skills and take on more responsibility, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Support the pharmacy manager in delivering excellent patient care and customer service, helping the pharmacy continue to grow

  • Deliver and support clinical services including weight management, travel health, and vaccinations

  • Process prescription items safely and accurately in line with our standard operating procedures

  • Ensure the safe and correct supply of dispensed items at the point of handout

  • Advise patients on over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products

  • Work as part of a team to achieve our shared business objectives

About you

  • Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician (essential)

  • Community pharmacy experience (essential)

  • Enthusiasm for clinical service delivery and developing your career

  • Open to qualifying as an Accredited Checking Technician in future (desirable, with full support provided)

  • Methodical, accurate, and able to maintain high concentration

  • Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills

  • Professional, tactful, and friendly

  • Trustworthy, with a clear understanding of patient confidentiality

  • Reliable, organised, and able to work to deadlines

  • A positive, can-do team player

  • IT literate

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Why join us
