Applications for Post Registration Foundation Training for Pharmacists Qualifying in August 2026.

The Post-Registration Programme for Pharmacists (Scotland) is a supported programme aligned to the RCPharm Enhanced curriculum. The audience is all newly qualified pharmacists regardless of prescribing status.
Funding for these courses has been confirmed. Any pharmacists qualifying in August 2026, who would like to register for the course need to do so by September 30th 2026.
In community pharmacy the programme timeline runs for 12 months. There is flexibility in submitting for assessment with learners being able to submit for the clinical credential (domains 1 and 2) or the full enhanced credential (domains 1-5). PSDS ask that learners inform at the point of registration of their intention for assessment submission and inform PSDS of their Educational Supervisor's name. Employers should discuss with learners the pattern for release of 15 hours per month to develop evidence and attend educational sessions.
The deadline for applications to this programme has been extended to 30th September.
