Job Description
Station Road Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, professional and patient-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy and growing community pharmacy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Providing a welcoming and professional service to patients and customers.
Assisting with the sale of over-the-counter medicines and pharmacy products in accordance with pharmacy procedures.
Supporting the dispensary team with the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions.
Managing prescription collection and hand-out processes.
Ordering, receiving and replenishing stock, ensuring appropriate stock rotation and storage.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation throughout the pharmacy.
Assisting with NHS and private pharmacy services where appropriate.
Ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Supporting the wider pharmacy team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch.

Previous experience working within a community pharmacy is desirable; however, applications from individuals with strong customer service experience and a genuine interest in healthcare are also welcomed. Full training and support towards relevant pharmacy qualifications will be provided where appropriate.
