Shaun Cowan: Services Co-ordinator

I joined Community Pharmacy Scotland as a Services Co-ordinator in February 2017 having spent 3 years at NSS, where I worked within the dental and ophthalmic division in various roles then moving onto pharmacy where I worked in Pharmacy Payments and with the Pharmacy Verification team. A main part of my role is to coordinate the pricing enquiry with the services team to ensure an accurate and timely result for our members and to inform the margin sharing arrangements set out within the financial package. I also deal with any financial queries that you may have regarding reimbursement and your eSchedules, I also coordinate prescription checking and support members with any ad hoc or GDPR queries they may have. I also act as the liaison officer for Community Pharmacy Lanarkshire.
