Record-Breaking Fundraising at CPS Charity Golf Day

The CPS Charity Golf Day 2026 has raised a record-breaking £10,063.32 for Blood Bikes Scotland, setting a new fundraising record for the event.
Held at the Ja Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort, the day brought together community pharmacy owners, suppliers, partners and supporters from across the United Kingdom for a day of golf, fundraising and catching up with colleagues old and new. A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day such a success, from our sponsors and prize donors to the teams who entered and supported the fundraising throughout. We would also like to thank the team at Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort for their hospitality and support. The service throughout the day was first class and the venue once again proved to be the perfect setting for a fantastic event.
This year we were proud to support Blood Bikes and the network of volunteer-led Blood Bike charities operating across the country. Their volunteers provide essential support to the NHS, transporting blood, blood products, medicines and other vital medical items wherever and whenever they are needed. Commenting on the fundraising total, Blood Bikes Scotland said:"We were delighted when Community Pharmacy Scotland selected blood bikes charities in Scotland as their charity partner of the year. The four charities run entirely by volunteers and funded by donations provide essential and at times life saving services in support of the NHS across Scotland. We were thrilled by the fundraising total achieved at the golf day which will be used to provide ongoing services across the region."
One of the most encouraging aspects of this year's event was the continued support shown by returning sponsors and teams, alongside organisations getting involved for the first time. As we begin looking ahead to next year, we are gathering feedback from players, team organisers and sponsors to understand what worked well and where improvements can be made, and we are committed to acting on that feedback wherever possible. We hope this year's record-breaking result will encourage even more organisations to get involved in future events, whether by entering a team, sponsoring part of the day, donating prizes or supporting the fundraising in another way. To everyone who played, sponsored, donated, volunteered or supported the day in any way, thank you. Together, you helped raise a record-breaking £10,063.32 for Blood Bikes Scotland and support a volunteer service that provides essential, and at times life-saving, support to communities across Scotland.

Next year’s charity partner will be The Butterfly Trust who make a positive difference in the lives of people living with Cystic Fibrosis.
