Emma Taylor: Head of Services

Having spent a couple of years working/travelling in New Zealand and Australia, Edinburgh called and said it was time to come home and start a new chapter in my life.  I started working at PSD within the pricing bureau, the world of Pharmacy was new to me and I found it fascinating.  I was fortunate to then work in Pharmacy Payments, which further grasped my interest.  Having the opportunity to join CPS allowed me to use my knowledge to support you all in everyday pharmacy business from endorsing to finance.

Since coming to CPS I have worked from Assistant to Supervisor and now I have the exciting opportunity as Head of Department.  With ways of working continuously changing and new services coming on, the department is here to support you in every day to day pharmacy operations from endorsing to understanding payments to name a few.   The department evolved in 2021 to become the new Services Department taking all CPS operations forward from Board and Council support to Governance and day to day contracts which is another new exciting chapter of my life at CPS.

Outside of work I spend time with family and friends, I love going to the theatre and trying new restaurants, but mostly I love to cook and experiment with new cuisines and of course paired wines.
