Unscheduled Care PGD

We work closely with our colleagues at NHS24 to do everything we can to support the use of the unscheduled care PGD, so that the vast majority of patients have uninterrupted access to their medication.

The PGD has been developed over the course of many years to be as flexible and inclusive as it possibly can within the constraints of the laws we work within, so there are very few instances where it's not possible to make a supply.

We would really like to hear from you about the service, specifically times when you've chosen not to make a supply and about what you see as the potential barriers to unscheduled care supplies in community pharmacy in Scotland - and what support you feel might be needed to overcome those barriers.
