Published: 15/05/25

Yesterday (14 May 2025), Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) welcomed members to the first Council session of the 2025 - 2028 term.
Held in Dunblane, the session brought together returning and newly elected Council members for a day of introductions, governance, and forward planning. Chief Executive Matt Barclay opened the session by thanking members for their contributions during the previous term and welcoming the incoming Council, highlighting the significance of the role they will play in shaping the future of community pharmacy in Scotland.
During the session, members received briefings on our current priorities and an overview of CPS’s strategic roadmap, including work underway to launch our new Mission, Vision, and Strategy later this year. The Council also discussed key policy developments and how CPS will continue to support pharmacy owners through both operational and transformational changes taking place across the network.
