Endometriosis Awareness Month
Published: 13/03/25
Endometriosis Awareness Month is taking place throughout March and is dedicated to raising awareness about endometriosis, a chronic and painful condition affecting many women across the UK. This month provides an opportunity to increase public understanding of the condition and encourage those who are suffering to seek medical advice from their GP practice.
Endometriosis is an often-debilitating condition which affects around 1 in 10 women throughout the UK, women and girls are not only impacted by chronic pain and exhaustion, it can also impact their fertility, mental wellbeing and day-to-day life.
The aim of this activity is to raise awareness of the condition and common symptoms among the wider society so they are able to better understand Endometriosis and support women and girls they may know who suffer from this disease or get help for troublesome symptoms that they have been experiencing for some time.
For this year's Endometriosis Awareness Month, we’re asking for your support to share resources across your network to help us reach as many people as possible.
