Michael Oswald: Director of Operations

I joined Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) in August 2014 after seven years in community pharmacy where I worked in pharmacy, operational and care home management roles. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work alongside contractors from every corner of Scotland, helping to tackle challenges, develop new opportunities and ensure members' voices are heard.

I started at CPS as Pharmacy Services Supervisor and became Head of Pharmacy Services in 2016 following an organisational restructure. After completing my MBA in 2019, I was appointed Director of Operations in February 2024.

Today, my role spans operational delivery, supporting negotiations and working closely with our Board to ensure CPS remains a strong, effective and member-focused organisation delivering value for money for members.
