Project You Wellbeing - Fife Pilot

Monday, February 24, 2020

On 24 February, the Scottish Government will be launching ‘Project You’, a Wellbeing Social Marketing Campaign Pilot. This pilot will launch in Fife and will be live for 6 weeks.

Project you is a campaign set to highlight the benefits of regularly taking time for yourself to be able to meet life’s demands. Research undertaken to support the campaign shows that over half (57%) of people in the region feel stressed, however over three quarters of people (78%) recognise there are things they are personally able to do to improve their health and wellbeing, with over two fifths (43%) motivated to change.

Help and inspiration is available at projectyou.scot, where you can find tips and ideas to help you start feeling better more often, whether that’s taking a breather, going for a walk, having a blether with pals or switching off screens and hour before bed to improve your sleep. There will be a sign-up for 6-week email programme that will offer free email support and inspiration to find what works for the individual. In addition to this, pharmacies in Fife will receive Project You campaign posters to display, and leaflets will also be provided to aid conversation around different tips and strategies that can help boost mood and feel more in control.
