NHS24 ECS Dedicated Line Withdrawal

"From Friday the 21st August, NHS 24 will withdraw the temporary NHS 24 ECS access line that has been running since the COVID-19 outbreak began. This is due to a significant reduction in call demand on the line, and the fact that pharmacists now have the ability to set up direct access from the pharmacy. We would recommend that all community pharmacists who do not currently have ECS log in details to contact their local Health Board IM&T facilitator/team as soon as possible in order to obtain access from the pharmacy. If you have applied for access and have not yet received login details, ECS information may be still be obtained through calling the NHS24 111 service only if essential for patient care.”
