We are pleased to be working with Breast Cancer Care on a small project to provide information to both patients with breast cancer and their families and friends.

Breast cancer can take over your identity, stripping away who you are. That’s why we are working with BCC on #ShareTheCare to promote their free support services which help women feel supported and regain a sense of control at a time when everything changes.

All pharmacies will be sent an introductory letter and 5 leaflets of each of two key publications to have available in your pharmacies to hand out as appropriate.

  • A Vita magazine – a lifestyle magazine with articles and letters from those who have been affected by breast cancer with lots of hints and tips
  • A guide to Breast Cancer Care’s support services – showcasing all the different ways we can help those affected and their family and friends.

The project is very simple, intended to “Share the Care” across community pharmacy.

There is no big workload involved – just highlighting and signposting the info.

The packs will be sent from CPS in October. Exact dates will be sent to you asap so you can look out for the information arriving in your pharmacy.
In the meantime, if you need any further information, please contact Amanda.
