I graduated from Strathclyde University before completing my pre-registration training with Boots the Chemist. I have worked for LloydsPharmacy, Boots the Chemist and Boots Opticians in a variety of operational and management roles until I joined Rowlands Pharmacy in 2011 as Superintendent Director.

My role at Rowlands has three main responsibilities: providing support to the pharmacies and the business to ensure they comply with regulation, legislation and professional standards, being the main point of contact for all external regulatory, or contractual agencies in relation to community pharmacy and representing community pharmacy and Rowlands on a number of committees and negotiating bodies. I current sit on the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, I am a Board member of the Company Chemist Association (CCA) and held the position as Chair of the CCA Board for two years. I also have a keen interest in public health and sit on Pharmacy and Public Health England Forum and NICE advisory committee for pharmacy and public health.
