John Connolly

John Connolly, Board Member

Graduated from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in 2000. Completed my Pre-registration year with Safeway and went on to be a pharmacy manager with them.  I then became the superintendent of an independent pharmacy in Aberdeen for 2 years before moving back to Glasgow and working as a locum.

In 2006 I became a pharmacy contractor and now operate 7 pharmacies across 4 Health Board areas in central Scotland.  I am involved in various local NHS committees representing pharmacy.

Last term I served as a contractor member on the Ayrshire and Arran and Lothian Pharmacy Contractors Committees and was a CPS council member.

I believe that community pharmacies and CPS require strong people to represent their interests and I feel that I would be ideally suited to the role.
